If you're feeling adventurous, then from Hwy 199 East, about halfway between Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park and Grants Pass (at Cave Junction), head east on SR 46 for about 16 miles to:
Oregon Caves National Monument - A bit windy, but unique. Cave tours, hiking and more.
If you don't feel like doing a spur trip, then stay on Hwy 199 East to Grants Pass:
Hellgate Jetboat Excursions - This is your last chance for a jet boat ride on the Rogue River
If jetboats aren't your thing, then pick up I-5 (or scenic Rogue River Hwy/Hwy 99) in Grants Pass and continue on to the town of Rogue River or Gold Hill. Mark of RV's To Go recommends:
Valley of the Rogue State Park - RV camping along the river (online reservations), hiking, and more. Located east of the town of Rogue River off I-5.
Rogue Klamath River Adventures - Located east of Rogue River in the town of Gold Hill, they offer fishing and whitewater rafting trips on the Rogue River.
Rogue Rafting Co. - Fishing and whitewater rafting trips, also located in Gold Hill.
Gold Hill is where you will exit I-5 and take SR 234 (Sams Valley Hwy) East. This road will T into SR 62 (Crater Lake Hwy), and you should turn left (north) and take SR 62 East all the way to Crater Lake National Park.
If you want to camp before getting to Crater Lake, you might enjoy Lost Creek Reservoir between Shady Cove and Prospect (off SR 62):
Joseph H. Stewart SRA - Located about 40 miles from Crater Lake on Lost Creek Lake, this State Recreation Area offers a modern campground (online reservations), dump station, lake access, trails, boat rentals and more.
