Silver Falls State Park is a true Oregon gem! A trip here is highly recommended. Staying in the campground here is nice so you can really explore the park. Plus, as a last stop, it's a nice launching point for an easy drive back to RV's To Go to return your RV by noon. At Silver Falls State Park you'll find:
RV Campground - Online reservations, electric hookups, dump station, trail to the South Falls Day Use Area.
Hiking Trails - The "Trail of Ten Falls" is a must if you are able to hike about 8 miles. As the name says, the trail takes you past 10 incredible waterfalls, and you can walk behind 2 of them! Some falls are pretty close to parking lots, but not all of them. See pictures below.
South Falls Day Use Area - This is the main parking area, where most people hop on the Trail of Ten Falls. Here you will also find picnic areas, a Lodge, a Nature Store, and a cafe.

This is the South Falls, and the trail actually goes behind the waterfall. |
This is the Lower South Falls, and you can walk behind this waterfall as well. |
Another view of the Lower South Falls as we approach it. It is a 93-foot waterfall. |
